Zero footprint: Greenwall strategy
GreenWall aims to promote and lead a more responsible urban tourism that reflects our icon, the vertical garden: a "green wall" where to project a clean, efficient and desirable tourism, a "green wall" to plug into to recharge the essence of the sustainable city, capturing carbon, reducing waste and fostering human connections.
With the largest vertical garden in Europe, the hotel has become a true lung in the middle of the city. It improves the appearance of the urban environment, purifies the air, absorbs carbon and produces oxygen. Our goal is simple and clear: to fight climate change and reduce pollution in big cities.
Greenwall Projects
In our hotel we are committed to sustainability and care for the environment. Therefore, we are proud to inform that we have electricity from Guarantees of Origin (GoO), ensuring that all the energy we use comes from certified renewable sources.
At our hotel, we strive to understand and reduce our environmental impact throughout our value chain, which is why we measure Scope 3 emissions, including those generated by our supply chain, such as the production and transportation of the goods and services we use. This commitment enables us to work with our suppliers to implement more sustainable practices and move together toward a more responsible future.
At our hotel we are taking steps towards a more sustainable model by progressively implementing zero-kilometer products in our operations. This means that we are prioritizing the use of local food and materials, reducing the distance they travel to reach our facilities.
